History of Thannithode Grama PanchayatThannithode Grama Panchayat is a village panchayat situated within the Konni Block Panchayat in Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. The Panchayat covers an area of 43.5 square kilometres.The Panchayat was officially constituted on 10 May 1978 by merging Mannira and Thekkuthode (Ward No. 8 of Aruvappulam Panchayat), Thannithode (Ward No. 9 of Aruvappulam Panchayat), and the Elimulluplackal area from Ward No. 9 of Konni Panchayat.
